Resilient Spark Yoga serves diverse audiences with adaptive yoga: children, teens, adults. RSY teaches and archive workshops dedicated to trauma informed clients. RSY is dedicated to implementing yoga as a therapeutic technique. Post physical therapy, RSY designs adaptive yoga sequences that suits a client's physical as well as emotional needs. The instructor assists you in building foundational strength in order to foster development towards progress. Current Compassionate YOGA Offerings: Kundalini, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kids Yoga including special needs & autism ( ages 0-17). Nichole is a yoga therapy level two trainee with final certification in progress through IYAT accredited clinical therapy program at My Vinyasa Practice. What is Yoga Therapy?
To summarize, yoga therapy uses intentional yogic techniques such as movement, postures, breath work, meditation and/or visualization to promote physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual healing. Yoga therapy aims to address the needs of an individual through using a combination of yoga practices. A Yoga Therapist uses various techniques to help a person find balance and healing such as movement (asana), breath work (pranayama), chanting, sound, and meditation (dharana & dhyana).
