THE RESILIENCY PROJECT
The old proverb states: "It takes a village to raise a child..." has taken on a new meaning duirng these challenging times. Resilience is defined as one's ability to withstand adversity and successfully adapt to life experience. Be it mental, emotional, or behavioral challenges, research demonstrates that both resiliency and positive skills associated with adaptation can be cultivated as well as practiced.
The Yoga Brain Project sprouted from a need to find healing solutions that work. Simply, YBP is a fusion of movement, art, music, and advanced brain technologies. From the perspective of The Yoga Brain Project: "It takes a community to foster resilient citizens to lead the next generation!" Resilient Spark proudly partners with Evolving Wellness, 5013C Nonprofit of Chippewa Valley and surrounding areas, in support of community resilience training for children, teens, adults, and families. Under the YBP umbrella, The Resiliency Project delivers three community programs. First, a suicide awareness program appropriately named Resilient Teen. Our Safe and Sound Program (SSP) delivers scientifically designed music to build a stronger response to life adversity. And third, ChildHaven Art with Heart program fosters resilience through child, tween, and teen art therapy. Coming soon to The Resiliency Project!
